McClone Technology is a Bradenton company that builds and fixes the systems small businesses run on. Every project is led by Aaron McClone, and we bring in trusted specialists when a job calls for them.
Aaron's path
Aaron grew up in Warsaw, Indiana, doing roofing and construction in the summers before he ever touched a server. That's where the habit started: learn the job from the people doing it, then make it easier.
He hand-coded his first websites in college, then spent his early career in IT for a worldwide financial printer, where he led a 55-person team rolling out the company's core software overseas.
A checkout problem at the biggest payment company became a payment gateway, built from the ground up. The platform later went to private equity and was acquired by one of the world's largest payment processors.
A custom operations system, shaped and run for ten years at a national sod distributor selling through more than a hundred farms to big-box stores across the country.
